Here, haptic, visual, and acoustic feedback meets balanced ergonomics. And because its glass sensors are completely manufactured in-house by our fellow RAFI Group companies, production is independent of any procurement problems – an important advantage in long-term product availability.

Haptic Meets Touch
The closed glass surface of GLASSCAPE touchscreens prevents the penetration of dirt, liquids, and other foreign matter, making them ideal for industrial use. These touchscreens offer intuitive operation, even with gloves; multi-touch capabilities with palm recognition; and high resistance to temperature and media. Our GLASSCAPE sensors continue to perform faultlessly even after millions of actuations, outperforming competing mechanical systems and resistive touch technologies. To ensure precise analysis and exceptional performance, we utilize standard electronics based on the leading maXTouch technology, developed by Microchip, a RAFI Group partner.
TWIN TOUCH
Force Inside: GLASSCAPE With Force Feedback
The TWIN TOUCH touchscreen is designed for demanding industrial environments, sensing both touch and the pressure applied to the panel. This force feedback technology prevents false actuations from external influences, enhancing operating safety by accepting input only when both touch and force generate a meaningful signal. The switching threshold for pressure-triggered input is also easily configurable.
With TWIN TOUCH, pressing force (touch, gentle, and strong pressing) creates additional input levels without extra elements. This results in a clear UI design and improved user experience that can also be combined with our haptic FLEXSCAPE operating elements.
TOUCHPAD & TOUCH ELEMENTS
Sensor-Based Operating Elements
Not limited to just singular touchscreen inputs, additional touch operating elements are also possible through TOUCHPADS. Ideal for industrial use, the rugged operating surface is made from foil or glass and houses a capacitive sensor in customizable formats.
The TOUCH ELEMENTS, capacitive buttons, sliders, and wheels are also behind protective glass, providing additional operating functionality.
METALSCAPE
Touch Input in a Metallic Look
With METALSCAPE, RAFI has combined GLASSCAPE with a metallic finish: safety plus ease of use in a first-class design – protected behind a closed surface. The brushed metal finish gives your HMI system a high-class appearance and makes a real statement. The patented METALSCAPE technology enables metal to be illuminated in the simplest way possible – without cut-outs. How we do it remains our secret. But we are more than happy to reveal the benefits to you: intuitive operation, translucent metal optics, unique vanishing effects, and high media resistance.
